Hôtel Newstar is governed by Quebec’s legislation for tourist accommodation establishments and does not fall under the jurisdiction of the Tribunal administratif du logement. In practical terms, your stay is not a residential lease: there is no automatic renewal, repossession notice or lease termination process. You reserve a specific period, extend it if needed, and leave when that period ends.
A $150 security deposit is required upon arrival and can be paid by credit card, Interac or cash. It is refunded in full at the end of your stay provided the room is left in good condition and all property rules have been respected.
